The non-profit organization has been collecting consumers' photos, drawings, poems and reasons, which voice concerns about clean air, global warming and the nation's dependence on oil, since August 2004. The visit comes a day after the heads of the Big 3 told Congress they would double their production of
by 2010 and a day after Bill Ford's announcement that Ford Motor Co. will not be able to produce 250,000 hybrids annually by 2010.
