Mallett Cars, which last made news on Autoblog at the SEMA show with a V8-powered Pontiac Solstice, has again surfaced with another Solstice surprise – the company will be delivering in June a Solstice with more than $200,000 of customization to one of its diehard customers.
Even with a blank check we couldn’t conjure up enough upgrades to comprise that amount of coin short of hosing down a Solstice in liquid gold and dipping it in crushed diamonds. Inside Line reveals only that the customization includes an orange leather interior, brakes and unique wheels. Perhaps one of its wheels is an Asanti special.
Mallet also revealed to Inside Line that it has taken possession of a pair of Saturn Sky roadsters and has already fired up the liquid gold hose and crushed diamond dipping tank.
