Mazda brings new MX-5 special edition to NY

It usually took Mazda a few years of production to introduce a special edition of the Miata, but with the 3rd generation MX-5 it will be the model to premier in North America at the NY Auto Show next week. The MX-5 3rd Generation Limited will be set to a model run of 3,500 units and will be on sale about the same time as the standard MX-5. Visual cues that make this limited edition stand out are glossy chrome-silver accents, 17-inch alloy wheels, Red Mica paint and deep crimson leather seats. The car will be available in other colors also. Autoblog will have live pictures from the show next week.
