El Camino VS Ranchero fight continues in OZ

The last time a Chevy El Camino and a Ford Ranchero duked it out in America gold chains entangled in chest hair was in. That time never died in Australia and the car-based performance pickup truck has never seen it so good. Ford debuted the FPV Super Pursuit (blue truck) powered by a 389 hp version of Ford's 4.6-liter V8, called the BOSS 290. The Ford still can't out power the king of the truck hill, the Holden Ute HSV Maloo with a 400hp 6.0-liter V8, the same engine that we know in the Corvette, GTO and SSR. There has been some grumbling from GM that an El Camino may see light in the U.S. using the Holden Ute. Until then, the fight is Stayin' Alive down under.
