Detroit Auto Show: Mitsubishi Raider

The second of Mitsubishi's offerings today is the Mitsubishi Raider, the Japanese company's long wait to return to the pickup world. It's certainly a good looking truck and not as aggressive as the earlier released sketches, but to me that means it doesn't offer much more than its Dodge Dakota platform sibling. There's 210 horsepower in the V6 edition and 230 horsepower V8 with 290 ft-lb of torque. The base model is an extended cab and there's also a double cab. It seems even the smaller trucks these days need to have an available double cab.

The Raider doesn't thrill but all things being equal I bet the interior is a tad cooler than the Dodge.
