L.A. Auto Show: Ford F-150 Harley Davidson Edition

Ford is showing off the annual Harley Davidson Edition truck for the first time in the F-150's new duds (the last edition was built off the Super Duty chassis) at the L.A. Auto Show. Sporting a tasteful stripe (well, more tasteful that the black and yellow pumpkin from last year), chrome wheels, exhaust tips and billet grill, the outside still screams HD version. Inside the F-150 interior really shines. No, I mean it. It looks a bit glossy in these photos. Ford's full-size trucks have to have the nicest of all big truck interiors, and shows off well in the more well appointed versions of the truck. Click through for more info and pictures.

The HD F-150 will be the first application of the all-wheel drive system on the F-150. The 4x2 setup will be standard. It will only be available in SuperCab configuration. The only engine is the 5.4 liter three-valver making 300 hp and 365 lb.-ft of torque.

The interior features ?high-gloss Piano Black? detail (no kiddin?), black aniline leather seating and a helping of chrome.

The billet grill is flanked by ?blacked out? headlights. I like them better than being backed by chrome housings.

These wheels are 22-inchers! Yikes.

The stripe is red with an electric blue outline. The ?Harley Davidson? script is in there also.

Ford has threatened to build 10,000 of these for 2006.
