Family associations tie the truck to the 2005 Dodge Dakota, even though DCX quit funding the bleeding Mitsu a few months ago. The truck strays from the Sport Truck Concept that was shown at this year's auto show to allow a quick port from the Dakota donor, losing some of the Mitsubishi character in the process.
