We've all been there. You walk down the street and can't believe how people have parked like that. Maybe they're taking up two spots. Maybe they're sticking out and blocking part of the street, sidewalk or crosswalk. And maybe you think about leaving a note, but you probably don't. One vandal in New York, however, is taking things a step beyond.

An unknown parking-enforcement vigilante in the Glendale neighborhood of Queens, New York, has been going around tagging cars with spray paint, leaving indelible messages like "Learn to park S bag" and "Hey S*** bag park right" (expletive deleted).

Naturally, their owners are up in arms – as would we all if we found someone had spay-painted our vehicles. In the CBS 2 news video report viewable by scrolling below, victims of the graffiti are interviewed, maintaining that their cars were were parked correctly, further noting that it's already hard enough finding spaces in New York. On some level, both jilted parties probably have a point, but there's little doubt that local law enforcement will see things the vigilante's way. Watch news report and then let us know how you feel about this sort of civil rebellion in Comments.

      When i was in High School all the kids had these huge stickers with them. Most of the kids would put them on Windshields of cars parked without tags in Handicap spots..Not damaging a car at all but a PITA to get off before you can see out of your windshield. I went to a Catholic High School btw...

        That's what the parking enforcement at work does, they put these obnoxious stickers on your windows when you do something stupid like park in a handicap spot or park in a nonexistent spot. And then if you keep doing it they tow you since they write down your plate. They make them bright red as well for extra embarrassing effect.

      If the so-called vandal had used plastidip, would it still be a crime?

        You need more than 1 coat of plastidip for it to peel off easily though.

        Fair point but the issue is that daily commute. I live in Brooklyn and work in MidTown and it takes me 1.5 Hours door to door. It's a big hit on your quality of life to commute 3-4 hours a day.

          There is life outside of New York. There are cities with suburbs that function way more efficiently and,do not require that much travel.

          Your commute is shorter than mine (5 hours daily by train and foot). However, I wouldn't give up the clean air and being able to see the Milky Way at night.

        I live in New Jersey and I can't remember the last time I visited New York. Respectable people have all moved to the 'burbs. Only riffraff and peasants and welfare moochers and the degenerates of society still live in the city.

          Yeah, I'm sure the people in $20 million apartments by central park are all peasants and welfare moochers. Seriously, I'd live in Manhattan if the prices weren't so damned high.

          Fuel yes i admit probably HALF the city is on welfare and i am being dead serious. But last year i went to see the Jets game, as you know they are in NJ and i was the only person in the stadium without a tattoo. You know in movies they portray stereotypical Brooklynites, people who talk and act like Tony Soprano.................that's basically New Jersey.

          Hate to break it to you Fuel, but half of Jersey is filled with former NYC 4-borough riff raff. Believe me, they were all my friends growing up and they didn't want to be apart of the riff raff either.

      This vandal is a total idiot. Does he not realize that those cars may have been parked perfectly fine, and it could have been the car that was parked previously in front or behind that car -- and since left its parking spot making the "new" occupier of the current parking spot appear to have done a poor parking job when in fact it wasn't a poor job at all? Use common logic. If you don't know what I'm talking about, let's take slot parking for example. If you see a parking slot, but the car next to your slot has his car parked halfway into your slot, well then you have no choice but to park your car halfway into the next slot. Now that guy leaves, and it's only your car left. Obviously that would make it look like you did a poor parking job when in fact it was not your fault and you had no choice but to park that way. Things like this happen all the time, especially in the city. This vandal is a f'king idiot for not having that common sense. If I caught him doing that to my car, I'd take that spray can and spray it right down his throat till he chokes.

        @MotionDesigner
        @MotionDesigner you clearly lack the concept of common sense if you're going to follow the way of the previous idiot who parked in the middle of the lane to occupy two spots. you just did what the other idiot does. it just shows that you're no better than him/her. why would you do what the latter did when you can park correctly so that when the first idiot leaves there will be more space for the next cars? but no, you just copied his stupidity which makes you much worse. clearly common sense isn't so common after all.

          If you're in a packed parking lot what are you going to do? Not park there because it's crooked? Don't' forget we're talking about a large metropolitan city like New York. The same concept applies with parallel parking. Do you know how difficult it is to find curbside parking in the city where space is extremely cramped? You obviously don't. Here's a hint: You take whatever spot you can find. Anyone who drives in the city would agree. If you've ever driven in the city you'd know exactly what I'm talking about. Obviously you have no clue. Now shut your trap before jumping to idiotic conclusions.

        But you do have a choice. No one makes you take the partial space and repeat the guy's move by parking partly in another slot. Go find a space that you can get into and be within the lines, dumbo!

        @MotionDesigner
        Motion, you're the typical bigmouth and probably would run away crying if confronted by whomever was wielding the spray can. Your analogy is STUPID because this isn't about "slot" parking and it's 100% clear to an average thinking person, that "guy" decided the vehicles sprayed were parked incorrectly. He/she MOST LIKELY watched the person park their car and walk away, which would allow them information you're obviously not inclined to consider, big mouth. Yet they're the idiot.... As to your stupid analogy, who's responsibility is it to park your car correctly, the driver, or some other person? THINK! You're offering an EXCUSE rather than a reason. Stop whining and be sure to park correctly so as to not get your snivlin' arse kicked, big mouth.

          @Rob H
          One last thing: Since your infantile brain cannot absorb common logic, here's a simpler analogy that maybe, just maybe, your little brain can finally understand: Let's say you're looking for curbside parking, you find a street that is filled with parked cars but there is one spot open right behind a Smart Car (or motorcycle). And that Smart Car is directly behind another vehicle. You have just enough space to park behind the Smart Car. You parallel park and everything's fine. 20 minutes later, the Smart Car leaves, leaving a large gap between your car and the other car that's now in front of yours. The gap is large, but not large enough for any other regular sized car to fit. By no fault of your own, it would appear to any idiot with no common sense that you have parked your car poorly, leaving such a large gap between you and the car in front, when in fact, there was a motorcycle or Smart Car previously parked in that gap. Now your idiot boyfriend comes along with his spray can, jumps to the conclusion that you parked poorly, and starts vandalizing your car due to his completely misguided sense of righteousness. Are you, Rob H, going to blame the person for parking poorly? You are a fool.

          Rob H, there is so much stupidity in your comment I don't even know where to begin. For starters, talking tough on the internet clearly indicates you are the insecure weakling. Another thing: Only trolls and keyboard warriors make accusations beginning with "You are probably, you would probably, I bet you would do…" I bet you live in your mom's basement. How's that? See what I did there? Your range of intelligence is just as limited as Wudz Pogi, whom I responded to just above. You can read my response to him and apply that to yourself as well. Lastly, it's comical that you think you know the vandal so well as to get into a detailed description of what he does and how he does it in order to justify his boneheaded actions.
