The Lamborghini Gallardo is a bit long in the tooth, so it's only natural that Lamborghini has its replacement in the works. Referred to as the Cabrera, the new model has been seen testing on the Nürburgring with fairly heavy camouflage, but it wasn't enough to stop automotive designer and Auto Week illustrator Marco van Overbeeke from rendering what he thinks it will look like when it's finished.

After comparing the illustrations and the photos of the Cabrera testing on the Nürburgring, it's not too far-fetched to say the next V10-powered, all-wheel-drive Lamborghini might look something like what van Overbeeke has envisioned. Feel free to check out the photo galleries below and compare the Nürburgring car with the illustrations. Then tell us what you think in Comments.

I much prefer this beautiful approach over the grotesque style of the Veneno and Egoista.

No doubt in my mind that Lambo will continue their tradition of building the most drool worthy stock supercars in the world.

Half of these comments on this don't make sense. It is ONLY a rendering.. It isn't the official thing.. Cabrera isn't even the Gallardo-Replacement's official name

A baby Aventador, I like it! I hope they build a Balboni-esque variant that's RWD.

Looks more premium than the Aventador Then again the Gallardo looked more Premium and was basically just better than the Murcielago too... Cabrera >>> Aventador :D

It could, but this is literally an exact copy of an article on Jalopnik from a few days ago, and its just some dudes' render. Lazy reporting at its finest!

The Diablo? Really? You know that model is no longer made right? And its soft surfaces look nothing like current models.

Did you notice that the rendering wasn't done by Autoblog, and that it matches very well with the spy photos?
