Nissan is headed to this year's Geneva Motor Show in March with a slew of concept vehicles. The company has let slip a teaser for one of those creations, complete with a quick video. The automaker calls the new vehicle the Hi-Cross Concept, and from the look and sound of things, we can expect to see a new high-riding hatchback roll onto the stage in Switzerland. Details aren't just scarce at the moment – they're entirely absent, which means we'll have to wait until the Hi-Cross receives its official debut at the show to learn more.

Nissan is also bringing along the Invitation Concept it showed off earlier this month. The pint-sized hatchback is designed to indicate exactly what the automaker has planned for its next small car. Like the Hi-Cross, Nissan has kept drivetrain details for the Invitation to itself for the time being.

Hit the jump for a look at the Hi-Cross teaser video.

Does Nissan really need to "tease" a cross-over. Do the people who buy this kind of car really care enough to want to see it piece by piece? Maybe I'm just tired of the slow-reveal.

I agree. Even if I'm interested in the vehicle, the "slow reveal" just disinterests me and is tiring. The RR Evoque Convertible piqued my interest, but not this line drawing crap.

Please, PLEASE be a crossover with some actual off-road capability. I'm not asking for a rock crawler here, just make something that can handle more than a gravel road for once. Please.

Looks like a replacement for the very tired Rogue/Qashqai.

But can they put a GTR drivetrain in it and bombard us with videos and stories? THAT is the question.

Could this concept be a preview to the next-generation Murano? I just bought a used 2010 model, and LOVE it!!

I have not talked to any Murano owner that has regretted the purchase.

Hopefully, it's a sport-oriented mid-size SUV based off the FX. The next Pathfinder seems to be a real snore.
