BMW 1 Series M Coupe ad - Click above to watch video after the jump

We have to wonder what it's like to be in automotive advertising. It can't all be fun and games, but the thought of sitting around, dreaming up a hair-brained stunt and then seeing said exercise come to life must be some kind of thrill. BMW has just released a new spot for the company's 1 Series M Coupe, and it involves plenty of rolling expanses of asphalt, heaping helpings of tire smoke and more than a little car control. The premise is pretty simple: a lone 1 M Coupe is left to slide around on an airfield until the driver feels comfortable enough to begin threading the vehicle through a set of concrete walls.

Each wall has a cut out just large enough to fit the coupe. Drama ensues.

Now, we hate to go all internet on the fine folks at BMW and drop a fake bomb here, but those walls look to be tinged with more than just a little CG. Still, we'll be the first to apologize if BMW actually trusted a driver to thread the needle over and over again with the company's newest creation. Hit the jump to check out the clip for yourself.

You should really get a new vocabulary because your current one is offensive and makes you seem ignorant.

Nice use of romaji to get around explicitly naming anatomical parts. Simple clean comment too.

bunch o' noobs. please google "fake and gay". its an internet pop-culture expression, no more literal than thinking that something that is "cool" is cold to the touch. *facepalm*

"Cool" does not also describe a certain population, actually it doesn't have any negative connotation at all. Just because a group of people say something doesn't make it okay to say, you wouldn't (well you might, but it is wrong to) say something is 'retarded' because there are people who take offense to the word. It's not hard to find an appropriate word choice especially when you are typing.

I looked it up: "Something the Youtube 3rd grade joke teller came up with. His mindless sheep/puppets aka fans post it on videos they don't like then think they are cool."

Why? You associate the word GAY as a negative thing?? Words that descirbe a particular group of people when use in a negative way as in- it's so gay, don't be an indian giver, or don't be a jews (as in cheap) are OFFENSIVE!

Talk about having a dull engine sound! If you close your eyes while watching, you'd probably never guess you're listening to anything with an "M" badge on it. Oh and thanks for the slow-motion bits when the car is sliding thru the CGI walls. :-\

Fakey fake fake. Newly poured concrete walls wouldn't look as weathered as those did. Or as fake.
