GM plant closure costs $121 Million

This spring GM will permanently close the Lansing, Michigan plant that produces the Pontiac Grand Am and it will cost them. The blow is just the latest financial predicament for GM, and the number includes $20 million a month in severance related costs and roughly $21-25 million in exit and environmental charges. Add this to the mounting health-care costs and the recent Fiat payout and GM has much more to worry about than just product.
