    Best-Selling Fullsize Luxury SUVs

As gas prices continue to remain low across the United States, sales of large luxury SUVs continues to climb.

While it may seem shortsighted to base such a major purchase decision on the ever-fluctuating price of oil, American consumers have shown a willingness, time and time again, to revert back to big, gas-guzzling vehicles just so long as their pocketbooks can take the hit.

Of the top five best-selling fullsize luxury SUVs in the US, only one has posted a sales decline so far in 2015. Which one is it? And which high-zoot Sport Utility Vehicle is the sales leader? Click above to find out.

    Year-to-date increase: -12.4%

The Lexus LX570 is the only fullsize luxury SUV on our list that's seen its sales falter so far in 2015. It's an unexplained anomaly in a sea of double-digit sales gains. We can't say for sure, but perhaps the big Lexus is succumbing to old age – all of the best-selling SUVs on our list boast newer designs than this Lexus, and consumers have likely taken notice. Let's see what's next.

    Year-to-date increase: +35.8%

The Land Rover Range Rover is a status symbol just as much as a conveyance to get from point A to point B, and it's also the third-best-selling fullsize luxury SUV in America, posting a year-to-date sales increase so far in 2015 of over 35%. Keep in mind that the Range Rover is seriously expensive, and its 56-percent sales increase for the month of February, which at least in some part is being attributed to low fuel prices, is all the more shocking.

With a 400-horsepower V8 engine underhood and nearly 6,000 pounds of mass to move, it's gonna be a guzzler, but the QX80's 43-percent sales increase in February of 2015 proves that lots of buyers just don't care.
