2.0T SEL Premium 4dr Sedan
2018 Volkswagen Passat

The Passat is the largest passenger car in the Volkswagen line-up. It has all the refinements and technology expected of a sophisticated German vehicle, but is now built in the USA specifically for the North American driver. The Passat is offered as a front-wheel drive, four-door sedan with two engine choices: a new 174-hp, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, paired with a six-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission; or a 280-hp 3.6-liter VR6, mated to a six-speed dual-clutch (DSG) automatic. Trim-dependent standard equipment includes: power sunroof, 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlamps, fog lights, passive entry/start, heated front seats, leather upholstery and dual-zone automatic climate control, as well as a 6.3-inch touchscreen display, HD/satellite radio, Bluetooth wireless phone/music streaming, two USB ports, smartphone integration and a voice-activated navigation system. Safety features found on every Passat are comprised of four-wheel anti-lock brakes with brake assist, electronic stability/traction control systems, Front Assist emergency braking and a rearview camera, along with six air bags. Other available technologies include automated park assist, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert. All models now come with the People First Warranty - a transferable six-year/72,000-mile bumper-to-bumper new vehicle limited warranty. For 2018, the Volkswagen Passat's previous 1.8-liter engine is replaced by an advanced 2.0-liter four-cylinder unit boasting more power and improved fuel economy. Additionally, a new GT trim joins the line-up, offering a sport-tuned suspension, paddle shifters, 19-inch aluminum wheels, red brake calipers and carbon fiber interior trim.
