2018 Mercedes-Benz AMG GT

2018 AMG GT Photos
The Mercedes-AMG GT is the spiritual successor to the SLS AMG, which was itself the spiritual successor to the historic 300 SL. The AMG GT is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that's tuned several different ways to produce up to 577-hp through a rear mounted seven-speed dual clutch transaxle to the rear wheels. This two-seat sports car relies extensibly on aluminum in its space frame. A sports-tuned suspension and staggered 19-inch front, 20-inch rear tires ease high-speed corning. Interior features include dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation system, Burmester surround sound audio, 2 USB ports, rearview camera and leather heated power seats. Available features include carbon ceramic brakes, panorama roof, high-end sound system, and a host of personalized interior trim touches. Safety features such as front and rear parking sensors, forward collision mitigation and eight airbags are all standard while the C trim also adds a lane departure warning system and blind spot warning. The Mercedes-AMG GT gets as boost in horsepower for 2018 as well as a roadster model.
