The two-passenger rear-wheel drive NV Cargo NV2500 HD is available in six trim levels - S V6, S V8, SV V6, SV V8, SL V6 and SL V8. Power is provided by either a 261-hp 4.0-liter V6 engine, mated to a five-speed automatic transmission, or a re-engineered 375-hp 5.6-liter V8, paired with a new seven-speed automatic transmission. Trim-dependent standard features include: durable cloth upholstery, air conditioning, CD player, power front windows, power heated driver's seat, cruise control, remote keyless entry and rear parking sensors. All trim levels are also outfitted with a multifunction floor console, featuring a sliding table and dedicated lockable storage for items such as clipboards, folders and a laptop; High Roof versions have a modular overhead console for additional storage, as well as standing/walk-through capability. Safety equipment includes anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist and stability/traction control systems, along with six airbags. For 2017, the Nissan NV Cargo NV2500 HD gets a more powerful V8 engine and seven-speed automatic transmission.
