2016 Aston Martin DB9

2016 DB9 Photos
The Aston Martin DB9 is a high-performance ultra-luxury coupe and Volante convertible. Often praised for its sensuous styling and precise handling, the DB9 is also known for having one of the most distinctive exhaust notes in any sports car. All DB9s are powered by an aluminum 6.0L V12, which for 2016 produces 540 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. The big engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with a limited-slip differential and delivers quite athletic performance, with 0?60 mph coming in just 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 183 mph. Standard equipment in the DB9 includes a full-grain leather interior with walnut and graphite accents, heated mirrors, automatic HID headlights, automatic temperature control, satellite navigation and satellite radio, front and rear parking sensors, a rearview camera, a premium audio system and a trunk-mounted umbrella. Optional equipment can take the DB9 to another level. Aston Martin makes sure there are a multitude of ways to make your DB9 unique. Options include 3 alternate wheel styles, painted brake calipers and carbon fiber exterior trim. Heated front seats are optional, as is an upgraded Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio system. The rear seats can even be uninstalled if desired. Aston Martin offers 35 paint options and 31 interior leather colors but if the right color isn't among them, Aston Martin will paint and upholster a DB9 in any color the customer provides. A new-for-2016 special "Bond Edition" debuts. Made in an extremely limited 150 models, they feature unique '007' badging, unique exterior and interior styling touches throughout. A unique "Spectre Silver" paint is the only available color. For 2016, Aston Martin offers the DB9 with a slightly more powerful version of the same V12 that's been a part of the DB9 for years. A new "Bond Edition" DB9 is also available, a tie-in with the famous movie franchise.
