The Volvo XC70 is a crossover wagon providing comfort and stability on the road, and security and peace of mind on rough roads or when the weather turns bad. New for 2015 the XC70 front-wheel drive has a new Drive-E engine and 8-speed transmission. A very functional wagon, the XC70 features higher ground clearance and SUV styling. The front-wheel drive T5 includes one of Volvos' new Drive-E engines, a direct-injected turbocharged 240-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder matched with a new 8-speed Geartronic automatic transmission. Drive-E engines include Start/Stop technology. The all-wheel drive XC70 3.2 features a 240-hp 3.2-liter inline-six. A 230-hp 3.2-liter PZEV engine is available. The all-wheel drive XC70 T6 includes a 300-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine. Both engines are paired with a Geartronic six-speed automatic transmission, allowing driver selectable shifting. With seating for 5 and a flat folding back seat the XC70 offers great versatility and maximum cargo capacity. Sirius satellite radio, Volvo Sensus infotainment system, and Bluetooth with audio streaming are standard. Safety features include City Safety, ABS, traction control, stability control, and six airbags. Optional equipment includes rear camera, upgraded premium audio, navigation system, and active xenon high-intensity headlights with washers. Volvos well-known commitment to safety include available features such as park assist, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, collision warning with full auto brake, driver alert, active high beam, and road sign information. For 2015, the Volvo XC70 has been updated with a new engine and transmission for the front-wheel drive model.
