mamavrakis 2012-04-09 00:27:56
I bought 2006 Buick La Crosse CX. I thought It will last me for 15 years like Buick La Sabre 1993 LTD with.No problems. I am dissopointed of the quality.Made in CANADA. I had to replace Rear Brake Caliber right side $850.00. Wheel Steering Shaft $350.00. Rear wheel Bearing Both sides $650.00. God knows what else is going to happen. Buick maker have only 50,000.00 Warranty 4 Years .Bumber to Bumber. If it is a REAL Buick & Genuine It Should be 100,000 Warranty. B.To B. They know their qualit is poor they never contact me about their problems when I fixed their CAR at the Dealer. It is like when you buy a BUICK say GOOD BYE at the next 50,000.Miles Tthey realy don't care about you.YOU ARE A LOOSER. DO NOT BUY BUICK. My next car is V.W. for my wife never Buick again. I am very sincere . Wait till they fix thier quality problems Thier Price went up the ROOF too. For such 2.4 lit.Eng. instead of 3.8Lit.Eng.
Review of 2006 Buick LaCrosse
Buick Lacrosse 2006 Axle Problem
I bought my white LaCrosse brand new in Jan. 2006. My father worked at car dealerships his entire life and always told us that there was nothing like a Buick, the best car ever made. Before buying this Buick, I had owned a Volkswagen Rabbit, Pontiac, Honda Accord, Olds '88 and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. So far the disappointment with the Buick has been that at 21,000 miles, the axle and wheel rods broke and had to be replaced last week. I was shocked.
The only other car I had owned that had this type of problem was the Pontiac, and it happened after 130,000 miles. From what I was told, my car is not the only LaCrosse that has had this problem. So if you own one and feel clunking in the steering column, your axle has probably broken. (As for style, the car is beautiful and gets many compliments. The white color gives it the stylish and expensive look.)
First 40,000 Miles
I bought my 2006 hoping for a good-looking, smooth, dependable ride for the ample amount of driving I do for both business and hobbies. This car has fit the bill perfectly. In a mix of highway and city driving, I've averaged 24+ MPG and like the engine response a lot. Frankly, I can't think of anything I don't like about the car. Our other car is an '07 Camry, driven mostly by my wife. Even if I didn't have to adjust the seat and mirrors, straight up, I prefer the Buick.
