Motorcycles sculpted from spoons

These miniature motorcycle sculptures are the work of artist James Rice, and they're made entirely from spoons. Rice designed these sculptures to gather ideas while building his own rideable chopper. The build involves welding together stainless steel spoons. Each sculpture takes about 5 to 9 months to complete. Rice and his wife Jeny locate the spoons at garage sales, estate sales, and thrift stores. Rice values his sculptures between $5,000 and $14,000, but he has no current plans to sell his artwork. A new sculpture is scheduled to be revealed in 2019. Learn more at everlastingspoonful.com
