Riding the success of Jay Leno's Garage, CNBC is expanding its automotive and mobility content with a new digital series titled Shift. The new show debuts this week and will feature everything from Tesla to Ferrari to Vice President Joe Biden. Shift segments will be related to, but shorter than, its parent show – and not every episode will feature Leno himself. One of the first episodes features Leno giving his thoughts on Tesla.
According to the comedian and car connoisseur, Tesla and Elon Musk should be praised for the work they're doing. Leno discusses how difficult it is to start a new car company and how many have failed since the birth of the automobile. If you enjoyed the video, look for more Shift content in the next few weeks.
