When Henrik Fisker appeared on the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show presentation schedule with back-to-back debuts with Galpin Auto Sports and Galpin Motors, we were rather intrigued. Especially when rumors suggested that the project with GAS would be the "Ultimate American Muscle Car." That gossip has turned out to be entirely true, and we have gotten our first glimpse at Fisker's latest design, dubbed the Rocket.
Details are still incredibly scarce, but we now know that the Rocket boasts a body made from carbon fiber. The actual reveal is scheduled for the LA show on November 20 at 11:05 AM PST.
Making the claim of the Ultimate American Muscle Car, obviously, sets expectation sky high, and its too early to say if the Rocket lives up to them. The general shape of the sketch looks fairly Mustang-like, even with the huge fender flares and big wing. Given Galpin's claim as the world's largest volume Ford dealer, a 'Stang might make sense as a starting point. Although, the teaser indicates Fisker has some very aggressive changes in style in mind, as well.
