Neighbors Trap Would-Be Car Thief In Vehicle

This takes Neighborhood Watch to a whole new level.

A group of neighbors in a small English town banded together to stop a car thief. Not only did they stop him, they trapped him in the vehicle he was trying to steal until police arrived on the scene.

The incident happened in Swansea in Wales, when Matthew Draper had asked one resident to kindly move a car that was blocking his target. Suspicious, she refused. That's when other neighbors descended on the scene and blocked him in the car. One captured the entire event on video.

"This is going on YouTube," one person witnessing the fracas says, before punctuating the recording with, "Idiot."

The Telegraph reports Draper received a sentence of 32 months.
