Emilia Palmer, an eight-year-old from Kimbolton, Herefordshire in England's West Midlands, suffers from a rare lung illness, requiring her to constantly be on oxygen. She made a request through Rays of Sunshine, which is like the Make-A-Wish Foundation, to get a ride in a pink Lamborghini, driven by everyone's favorite Hamster, Richard Hammond. And last Sunday, she got to do just that, escaping from her hospital just long enough to stop home and get a surprise visit.

Within days of receiving Emilia's wish, Rays of Sunshine found someone willing to donate a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster, and let the charity get it resprayed in an eye-searing, matte pink. The charity also managed to get Hammond to fly in for a personal visit with Emilia.

You can take a look at video of the meeting down below. You can also click over to Rays of Sunshine's website and donate, so that they can continue granting wishes for terminally ill children across the UK. Now, if you'll excuse us, we need to step away and get all this dust out of our eyes.

Some say Richard Hammond is a good man. I believe this to be true.

There are so many layers of awesome there that I lose track. Thank you for sharing this, Autoblog. Never underestimate the power of hope, kindness or charity. Things like this are lottery win levels of rare, but getting to see someone's dream come true when there is so much suffering in their life is just wonderful. When you have an amazing dream come true, you can hold on to that joy and make it through a whole lot of horrible. Never underestimate the power of hope, kindness or charity.

Very well done. Props to the car owner, Rays of Sunshine, and Richard Hammond. It definitely restores your faith in humanity.

Ok, I may have cried some man tears on that one. She even brought Minnie Mouse along. That said, I do not think they 'resprayed' a brand new Aventador. It looks to be a vinyl wrap on a white car--they left the wrap off the mirrors, handles, and vents. Vinyl wraps are pretty cool, you can do a very good job changing a car to a different [matte] color without it being permanent.

Its plastidip stuff. It is already back to the original white. Read it on here http://thesupercarkids.com/lamborghini-aventador-turned-pink-for-a-girls-bucket-list/ Have to say though, that I think the pink with white detailing looks great. Well done everyone who is involved in this

Reminds me of a Batman story, I think a gentleman in or around Maryland going to hospitals to cheer up unfortunate children. If I won the lottery this is exactly what I would do.
