Police Find Gun Arsenal Following Routine Traffic Stop

Hollow-point bullets, cocaine and weapons found in car by New Jersey police

Police pulled over a 2007 Scion driving along the Garden State Parkway on Tuesday because the driver was not wearing his seat belt.

They found a lot more than a traffic infraction. Police say they found several bags of cocaine in the car, along with a handgun, prescription drugs and hollow-point bullets. They arrested Travis Dulk, 27, of Roselle Park, N.J.

When they searched Dulk's nearby home later, they found an arsenal of weapons, including gunpowder and M4 assault weapons. Police also found what they initially thought to be bomb-making materials, and the state bomb squad was called to investigate. Area residents were evacuated in the wee hours of Wednesday morning.

Police say they don't believe there is a bomb threat anymore, but told WPIX-TV they treated Dulk's residence as such "out of an abundance of caution."

Charges are pending.
