Tesla trade up guy gets to drive a Roadster (for a while, anyway)

Provost says he can check driving a Tesla Roadster off his bucket list after finally getting some time behind the wheel of the electrified two-seater, but Provost's quest isn't over. Driving the Roadster, as Provost describes, was "out of this world," but Martin's goal is not to buckle himself in the driver's seat of a Tesla for a few minutes, but to outright own the $109,000 electric ride.

Provost's journey to own the electrified Tesla comes one swap at a time. Following in the footsteps of Internet swapper Kyle MacDonald – a Canadian blogger who bartered his way from a paperclip to a house – Provost embarked on his own swapping campaign. His goal? To trade up from a $30 camera to a $100,000-plus Roadster.

But Provost is stuck on trade number seven, a 12-month enterprise online store package from Shopify!, a package valued at $3,000. Unfortunately for Provost, production of the current Roadster has ceased, meaning that his dream may never come true, but at least he now has real-life fodder for his fantasy.
