Video: Check out the Peraves Monotracer

The Peraves Monotracer is the gasoline-fueled version of the battery-powered E-Tracer (now called the Monotracer E), winner of the prestigious Progressive Automotive X-Prize in the Alternative Class-Tandem. Though the Monotracer does burn fuel, it sips it at a rate that allows the sleek two-wheeler to return 60 to 70 miles per gallon and, for a mere $75,000, a Monotracer could be parked in your garage.

Late last year, Peraves chief executive officer, Roger Riedener, introduced Callie Calimlim to the radically styled, fuel-efficient Monotracer at Opportunity Green 2010 held at Los Angeles Center Studios.
