Recently, Mitsubishi's electric i-MiEV hit the Norwegian market. In January, the pint-sized I-MiEV racked up a total of 99 sales in Norway. Though the I-MiEV didn't exactly fly off dealer lots, it did manage to outsell all of its competitors including the Peugeot 107, Toyota Aygo, Citroen C1, Toyota iQ, Suzuki Alto, Fiat 500 and last but not least, the Norwegian-built Think City.

In October of 2010, Mitsubishi commenced production of its Euro-spec i-MiEV. To date, Mitsubishi has shipped well over 2,500 i-MiEVs (and the re-badged twins, the Peugeot iOn and Citroen C-Zero) to 15 European countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
