VIDEO: Volt center stack to come in dark grey or white

As our man Chris Paukert was perusing the videos about the pre-production Volt build process the other day, he noticed a slight change in the interior from what we have seen previously. When the "production" Volt design was unveiled last September, the center stack was finished in very iPod-esque white plastic with touch sensitive controls. The IVER prototype shown in the video has a dark grey finish which we haven't seen before in a Volt.

We checked with GM spokesman Dave Darovitz and he confirmed that the production Volt will be available in both white and this new dark grey metallic finish. According to Darovitz the grey actually "looks black in person," presumably when it isn't bathed in camera lights. Another change you might note is that the screen at the top of the stack is now fixed in place rather than a pop-up like the concept. The new dash shows up about 25 seconds into the video after the jump.
