Kumho's Epoch: an eco-friendly concept race car

All cars have tires, of course. What should we do with all of those used tires which need to be recycled? How about turning them into cars? The Kumho Epoch race car concept proposes just that, as well as using bamboo for the frame and electric propulsion via individual magnetic levitation hubs at each wheel. Sounds pretty far out there, doesn't it? Check out the best part: electric currents can change the tire's shape and tread pattern. As cool and as useful as all of that sounds, color us blue from holding our breath for any of that technology to make it into production.
