Lights out in Europe as a demonstration of concern over climate change

  • Paris' Hilton (no, What do all of these building have in common, besides all being in Europe? They all joined in the "five minutes' break for the planet" event. Many homes across Europe also joined in. The event was to take place for five minutes today, between 18:55 and 1900 GMT.

    The action was set to coincide with the release of the UN's Intergovernmental Panel for Climate Change after a four-day debate. The report was covered here today.
