The most necessary bumper sticker for conscious folk

/
Are you constantly planning your trips, making sure you're hitting the grocery store on the way back from band practice, which you also combined with a trip to drop off the library books? Do you walk or bike whenever possible, but still find yourself in the car now and again? If so, then the Guardian newspaper has a bumper sticker for you.

The green, white and red sticker reads, "Yes, This Journey is Absolutely Necessary," and was available with all copies of the paper on the 18th of this month. Oxo over at the PriusChat found a similar message in a World War II poster issued by the UK government (you can see it after the jump). The message is the same, but the key difference is the word "really" instead of "absolutely". Anyone want to take bets on how long before the New York Times or USA Today sends out stickers with a similar message? My money's on never. But if they did, I hope no one would feel the need to criticize them for losing their neutrality. Wasting resources and global warming are not partisan topics. At least, they shouldn't be. A media organization in favor of taking care of the environment is siding with citizens and nature. What's wrong with that?
