Gomez rocking out on entirely green fall tour

Over the years, we've seen a steady increase in the level of green a touring act can create when they go on the road. This year, as the summer music festivals turned into fall tours, we've seen Pearl Jam's carbon neutral shows (fans' drives included) and CSNY's stop in BioTown U.S.A., Lollapalooza's biodiesel kick and more. This month, the band Gomez is upping the ante with not only biodiesel tour buses but also an entire green concert. The band, partnering with Clif Bar's new GreenNotes program, uses carbon offset to buy clean energy for the entire tour, minimizing idling tour buses, staying at sustainable hotels, organic food and clothing at shows and using recycled print materials. Don't worry, the music is still fresh.
