Kroger expands E85 offering into Ohio

Sib site BloggingOhio reports that the supermarket chain Kroger Co. will be offering the E85 at its Ohio stores by year's end. Currently only one, located in the city of Toledo, sells the alternative fuel. There are nine Kroger locations that sell gasoline in the state but the company also operates other stores under different names.
Kroger's ethanol program is the result of automaker General Motor's program to work with state agencies and companies to either offer E85 or promote its use. Many of GM's vehicles have "flex fuel" capability and can be powered by regular gasoline or E85.
