The ballots have been cast and the 11 winners of this "Interior of the Year" awards will be announced at the Automotive Interiors Show on June 7-8 at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan.
The 53 nominees for the awards were selected by Wards's Auto World Magazine, the sponsor of the show. Voters selected from six vehicle categories: popular-priced cars; premium-priced cars; popular-priced CUVs (new this year); premium-priced CUVs; popular-priced trucks and premium-priced trucks. Voters also had to select from six product feature categories as 'Best Instrument Cluster' and Best Cup Holder. In total, over 1000 votes were submitted and tallied by Ward.
The finalists in each category can be found at the link. The Lincoln Zephyr's interior, which we were delightfully surprised with during its stay in the Autoblog Garage, is up for two awards.
