If the excitement of the blowing 'round the globe in a supercar en route to exotic destinations at extralegal velocities isn't exciting enough, the guys over at Gomex.tv have put a little $100,000 wager on the Gumball 3000. The rules? The first Ferrari F430 or Lamborghini Gallardo to reach the Beverly Hills Hilton takes the prize-- which should just about cover the speeding tickets and dead dino receipts they're sure to incur in the course of getting there.
In other news, CoPilot Live, official satellite-navigation sponsors of the Gumball have put up a website where you can track the racers car-by-car via GPS. Most racers will be arriving in Phuket by air, having loaded their whips into an Icelandair jet. That said, they'll be heading for Bangkok come Thursday, so using the site could get more interesting.
