2006 Kia Rio named Most Improved by Autobytel

There’s that old adage that says if you’re at the bottom, the only way to go is up. One could argue that’s an apt description of the rocket-like ascension of the dynamic Korean duo of Hyundai and Kia in the past five years. In keeping step with the general trend of its maker, the Kia Rio for 2006 has been given the Editors’ Choice Award for Most Improved New Car by Autobytel. Not only does the new 2006 model improve upon its predecessor in nearly every way imaginable, those improvements amount to a competitive subcompact that can go toe-to-toe with the likes of the Scion xA and Chevy Aveo.
