Kia "Soul" concept will premiere at NAIAS in Detroit

Kia Motors America has released this preview sketch of its new "Soul" crossover utility vehicle concept, which will make its world premiere at the Detroit auto show in January.  The Soul concept is billed as a CUV with a "sporty, bold look that builds on design cues from the Kia Mesa concept vehicle."

The small CUV is targeted at people with an active lifestyle, with a practical interior and a reconfigurable cargo space. The rear lift gate includes storage for wet or muddy items such as a wetsuit or hiking boots.
