Designed by Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center, a joint venture between GM's South Korean design center and SAIC-GM joint venture design studio in China, the Gentra/Aveo is being manufactured in both Korea and China. GM began selling it in China as the Chevrolet Aveo in July and has already enjoyed strong sales so far. It'll be interesting to see how the new and improved Aveo does in the U.S. market when it arrives.
