2006 Mazda CX-7

Mazda has announced the production version of the MX-Crossport will be named Mazda CX-7. This begins Mazda's new global naming strategy, SUVs will carry the CX, rotary powered sports cars get the RX, piston-engined sports cars carry the MX and core vehicles will continue the name MAZDA and a number based on vehicle size.
