The Detroit News has a story on how Mitsubishi is planning to turn things around in the U.S. Part of the plan involves less fleet sales and new product. As most people know, we like the Mitsubishi line because they're usually more fun to drive then the button-downed Japanese behemoths like Honda and Toyota. We can't wait for the Eclipse either. However, Edmunds has already gotten a ride in the new Evo IX. That's pretty impressive since it was just unveiled yesterday at the New York Auto Show. Scott Oldham got to test both the IX and the MR version in Japan and his review is definitely worth a look. It seems that the Evo will continue to keep Mitsubishi's cred as a performance builder until we get our hands on the Eclipse for the mass market buyers. And coupe fans of course.
