New York Auto Show: Isuzu i280 and i350 pickups

Instead of a press kit, Isuzu should have handed out Xanax; it was just that depressing. Bring out your dead! Isuzu's not dead yet but the foul stench of rotting Chevrolets stunk up the display. With nothing more than the grille center from the Ascender SUV, the Chevrolet Colorado becomes the Isuzu i280, with the Vortec 2.8 liter I-4, and the i350, powered by the, you guessed it, Vortec 3.5 liter I-5. The good news is: if you want a Chevy Trailblazer or Colorado with a 7 year warranty, just buy an Isuzu, otherwise there is no reason for this brand to hang around the U.S. any longer.
