Mercedes Benz has recently been hounded over electronic gizmos not working (or working correctly but owners thinking it isn't) more so than other luxury marques. With the new 2006 M-Class the Germans hope to beat the rap. The original M-Class was more truck than car, based on a body-on-frame truck chassis, and the ride suffered when comparing it to the more car-like unibody competitors that stormed the lux-truck segment after the MB. The new M-Class is now built on a unibody structure and Wards Auto is convinced that it moves the truck to new heights is ride and handling.
Can the new M-Class lead quality redemption?
