New 3-Series a Must Win for BMW

Christine Tierney of The Detroit News has inked an excellent piece on the past, present and future of the new BMW 3-Series. Although it contains no real surprises for pistonheads, it's nice to see web pundit Peter Delorenzo get the first quote. And the remarks from a disaffected BMW customer, driving instructor and District Judge Bailey Taylor of Mount Washington, Ky., have a certain piquancy: "BMW execs have insinuated that BMW customers don't like the new styling and iDrive because they aren't bright enough to appreciate them. Talk about arrogant." It's enough to warm the hearts of Acura TL lovers everywhere.
