Shoe is on the other foot - Automakers to invade Korea

Import auto makers are pushing hard in Korea, a market that saw just 23,345 sales in 2004. DaimlerChrysler is putting a wacky incentive in place; they will exchange a new vehicle for any car damaged in an accident in which the owner was not at fault and the damage exceeds 20% of the price. BMW is readying a Mini assault to boost their sales and Toyota is pushing the new Lexus GS 300. Nissan is loading the Infiniti gun with introduction of the G35, Q45, M35, M45, FX35 and FX45. Honda, Audi and Peugeot are also looking for more sales. Seems like a lot of work for a small market.
