A cell phone activist instrumental in outlawing hand held cell phone use while driving in the state of New York has a new cause: banning teenagers under 18 from talking while driving. Jon Cooper is pushing the new bill because of recent findings that young drivers are slower to react while talking on the cell phone. The story says similar legislation is being considered in about a dozen states.
