Anyone else a bit disturbed by the picture of the Dalai Lama signing a Land Rover Discovery hood? This is for the "Drive Around the World LONGITUDE Expedition" where four 2003 Certified Pre-Owned Land Rover Discoveries are driven through 34 countries and covers 32,000 miles (not too eco-friendly). From Land Rover: "The aim of this journey is to benefit Parkinson's disease research and to promote geography and scientific research projects among school children. " All for a good cause I know, but it seems "off" to see Dalai Lama and Certified Pre-Owned Land Rover in the same caption for a picture. To read the press release click here.
