Subaru to get hybrid tech from Toyota

Subaru is setting up a hybrid plan for North America and the Toyota hybrid power system will be part of the equation. GM, which is a 20 percent stakeholder of Fuji Heavy Industries (the owner of the Subaru brand) has hybrid tech for larger vehicles like trucks in the pipeline, but not for smaller engines which is Scoobies forte. No word on when the first hybrid Subarus would hit the market.
