USA Today dives into auto show hybrid mania

I ran into James R. Healey in Detroit the other day and introduced myself since I know he's at least a casual reader here. He was hard at work at his laptop, obviously working on a fine piece like this. If our coverage of the auto show had any holes it was in-depth reporting (we were working on speedy posting) and Healey discovers what each automaker was trying to tell the press about the future of alternative fuel vehicles. This is one of those articles that really explains the entire trend clearly for the every man. Of course that's what USA Today is about. But I was surprised to learn that Honda is considering a hybrid SUV after reading the AutoWeek Q&A that said there were no plans for such a vehicle from Honda.
