Does USA Today miss the mark with Land Rover LR3?

Usually I'm on board with everything James R. Healey says when tackling vehicles in his USA Today column. Today's story on the all-new Land Rover LR3 mentions the SUVs amazing handling, suspension and ride but Healey thinks the thing is ugly and suggests those looking for sleek styling go elsewhere. I don't know what Land Rover Healey was driving but I think the LR3 leaps far ahead of previous Land Rovers as far as style. It doesn't look so top heavy, even though it is, discarded the rear spare and that front grill is hot. When I stood next to the LR3 in person I thought it was the best-looking Land Rover so far.
